The absolute parameter (H, u, Kn) are subtituted by the reduced parameters(h,ᶹ ,φ) for the main reason that we can compare directly the results obtained from:
- columns containing packing meterials with different sizes
- mobile phases at differnt viscosity
- solutes with different diffusion coefficients.
The simple index performance is tabulated.
