preparation of holocellulose

1. weigh 1g milled wood powder, place in 100 mL flask
2. add 60 mL(acetic acid and sodium hydroxide pH 4-5) put in heating blog+magnet stir in fume hood
3. Add 0.3 g sodium chlorite or sodium chlotie solution pH 4-5 for delignification let 30min
Repeat step3 until Klason lignin content <0.1 obtained
4. After 45 min or longer, solution is filtered with a preweighed glass filtering crucible-30mL, medium porosity 10-15 µm.then Wash with 200 mL of cold distilled water followed 200 mL of acetone.
6. Dry under a high vacuum and weigh the residue.
