Protein separation methods

Protein can be separated by following methods.
Gel Filtration: Using of  gel to isolate the protein in different band than each band is collected


Hydrophobic interaction
The interaction between non-polar molecules, neutral molecules. The molecules tend to be non-polar will have this kind of interaction.
Ion Exchange:
Anion exchange: the ions will be attracted by positively charged sites of the columns, then eluted by anions with higher bonding ability(with higher M2/charge value )

Affinity: sites on the peptide sequence of protein will have an affinity to the ligands from the column.
